Terms of Service

The terms governing access to and use of KDX.GG.

1. No Affiliation with Riot Games

kdx.gg is an independent third-party service and is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized, endorsed by, or officially connected to Riot Games, Inc.

All Riot Games trademarks, logos, champions, game mechanics, art assets, and related intellectual property are the exclusive property of Riot Games, Inc.

kdx.gg uses the publicly available Riot Games API in compliance with Riot Games’ Developer Agreement and policies.

Riot Games does not sponsor, endorse, or approve this Service.

2. Use of Riot Games Data

kdx.gg uses gameplay data provided through Riot Games API services to generate statistics, insights, and gameplay-related functionality.

This data is used solely for informational and analytical purposes.

kdx.gg does not modify, sell, redistribute, or store Riot Games proprietary data beyond what is permitted under Riot Games’ Developer Agreement.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

3.1 kdx.gg Intellectual Property

All original software, systems, tools, features, designs, statistics, and game-independent intellectual property developed by kdx.gg are the exclusive property of kdx.gg.

3.2 Riot Games Intellectual Property

All League of Legends champions, abilities, art assets, summoner spells, names, and game-related data are the exclusive property of Riot Games, Inc.

kdx.gg makes no claim of ownership over Riot Games intellectual property.

4. User-Generated Content (Guides & Builds)

4.1 Ownership

Users may create original content on kdx.gg, including but not limited to Guides and Builds (“User Content”).

Users retain full ownership of their User Content at all times.

4.2 License Granted to kdx.gg

By submitting User Content, the user grants kdx.gg a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Host
  • Display
  • Reproduce
  • Distribute
  • Publicly present

the User Content solely in connection with the operation, functionality, and promotion of kdx.gg.

This license remains valid until the User Content is deleted by the user.

4.3 Attribution

Whenever User Content is displayed, the creator’s username and a direct link to their public profile will always be visible.

kdx.gg does not claim authorship or ownership of User Content.

4.4 Deletion Rights

Users may delete their Guides and Builds at any time.

Upon deletion, the User Content will be removed from public display within a reasonable technical timeframe.

4.5 Content Restrictions

Users may not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing, or violates applicable laws or third-party rights.

kdx.gg reserves the right to remove User Content that violates these Terms.

5. Premium Features & Monetization

kdx.gg does not monetize Riot Games intellectual property.

Premium features are strictly limited to:

  • Removal of advertisements
  • A KDX Premium role on eligible profiles
  • A KDX Premium Discord role, where the user's accounts can be linked
  • Early access to selected beta features
  • Participation in Premium community polls

Premium is offered as an automatically renewing monthly, yearly, or flexible monthly subscription at the price shown before checkout. The flexible option allows users to choose a recurring monthly amount of at least €2. Billing management and cancellation are provided through Stripe.

Every paid Premium option includes the same Premium features and roles while its subscription remains eligible and active.

These features do not modify, sell, or restrict access to Riot Games data or assets.

6. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws
  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Not misuse, exploit, interfere with, or attempt to disrupt the Service

Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

7. Age Requirements

Users must be of legal age to play the games used in connection with the Service.

If a user is not legally permitted to play Riot Games titles in their region, they may not use kdx.gg.

8. Account Termination

Users may request deletion or termination of their kdx.gg account at any time by contacting:

kdx.gg may suspend or terminate access to the Service if a user violates these Terms.

9. Third-Party Services Disclaimer

The Service relies on third-party services, including but not limited to Riot Games API services.

kdx.gg is not responsible for interruptions, inaccuracies, or failures caused by third-party services.

Third-party terms and policies may apply independently.

10. Prohibition on Data Scraping

No third-party service, website, bot, script, or automated system may scrape, copy, harvest, mirror, or extract data from kdx.gg without explicit written permission.

Unauthorized scraping or automated access is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate blocking and legal action.

11. Limitation of Liability

kdx.gg is not responsible for:

  • Inaccuracies, delays, or interruptions in data from Riot Games’ API
  • Damages resulting from use or inability to use the Service
  • Loss of data, ranking changes, or gameplay outcomes

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.

12. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless kdx.gg from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Misuse of the Service
  • Submission of unlawful or infringing User Content

13. Force Majeure

kdx.gg shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Riot Games API outages
  • Infrastructure failures
  • Legal or regulatory changes
  • Natural disasters

14. Privacy & Data Protection

Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

15. Site Changes & Availability

kdx.gg may update, modify, or remove features at any time due to technical, legal, or operational reasons.

Uninterrupted availability of the Service is not guaranteed.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules.

For consumers, statutory jurisdiction rules apply.

For merchants or legal entities, the place of jurisdiction shall be Germany.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the user and kdx.gg regarding use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements.

19. Changes to These Terms

kdx.gg may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
